Something went wrong, try again....

I am trying to hyperlink an assignment I have created in Canvas to a lesson for my class.  I have done this for all of this school year and all of the sudden, I am getting this error and cannot link it. 

I have tried the usual, refresh, save, close and reopen.  Even shutting off my computer and restarting it.

Any suggestions?

I'm not sure, but this sounds similar to a problem I had last week. I didn't have this problem with assignments but with adding files like PDFs and Pptx. See https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor/Links-to-files-on-pages-are-not-previewing/m-p/429782#.... If you view the html coding, I suspect you'll see "/preview" at the end of that assignment's link. (You can hit "Ctrl F" to find those letters on the page.) 

Unfortunately, I had to manually fix each individual file that I'd linked. I hope this helps you.

My faculty just started to notify me about this too!

Looks like something wrong at the instructure level. I recommend calling Canvas Support: 866-998-4222 or 888.965.3645
