Hi everyone,  I'm new to the group and I am looking to see how many of you are Tech Coaches, or Literacy Coaches or just plain ... Coaches.

Would love to start a conversation as I begin my new position in a new school district this year.

Hi! At my school, my title is technically Art Teacher + Canvas Engagement Specialist, but I help and collaborate in so many capacities. I think I could "fit" in with the Tech Coach label.

Hi teachercast‌ I am a director of elearning which is a very posh word for coach + canvas admin + tech advice  (switch on/off) + technologist + digital learning advice + canvas fixer

How is everyone's school year going so far? What are some of your challenges as the kids and dust get settled?

Day one with students is in the books!

Last week was our Staff Orientation, and there was so much to do! I feel that it can be difficult to squeeze so much into a single week of orientation. ...and get ready for students! I think the challenge this year will be to stay connected with busy colleagues -- to help them sneak some tech-focused professional development in moments it makes sense to them.

Keeping with colleagues, both ones at your school, and TC's in other districts is one of the most important things that TC's can do to not only keep our sanity but to keep updated on best practices.
