Collaboration Page disabled

I am trying to create a collaboration and logged in as a student, it says that the page is disabled.  I was able to create the collaboration as a Presentation.  Everything looks fine, but when I go look at it from a student account, when I click on Collaboration, it comes up with a message saying that the page has been disabled.  We have Google Apps LTI applied across the district, on the teacher side it is part of the navigation, and the external collaborations tool settings is ON.  I am not sure what I am missing.  Haven't had trouble with this before, but now it is just frustrating me.  I would like to demo this at a training, so any assistance would be great.

 @lhenson , greetings! Are you logged in as a real/actual student in your class that has linked their Canvas account to their Google account? Students have to do this before the collaborations will work for them

Because of this you have to be logged in as a real student, masquerading as one won’t work, and using the Test student won’t work either.

I am logged in as an actual student who has a google account connected in Canvas.

That’s super strange! For a situation like this I would recommend contacting Canvas Support to see if they can help. If you’re not sure how to do that click on the Help link and Report a Problem.

I even added myself (as co-teacher) to the collaboration in the course and it says I don't have access either. I have a scheduled call with my CSM on Friday, so I will ask about this with her.
