Does the Quiz Log record screenshots?

Hey all,

I was wondering--does anyone know if the Quiz Log records if a student takes a screenshot during a quiz? I know the Quiz Log tells you when a student navigates away from the quiz, but I did not know if screenshots counted as "navigating away."

As far as I know, no, it doesn't record if a student took a screen shot or not. The best way to confirm this is to contact Canvas Support and see what they have to say. You can do this by going to the quiz log in question and then clicking on the Help link (bottom left) and Report a Problem.

Thank you, Kona! I figured I would check with the community first since I was not sure it was a help ticket, more of a question posed by a faculty member. I will go ahead and submit this and see what Canvas Support has to say.

I just heard back, and Canvas Support suggested that I start a new feature idea: Quiz Log: Record When a Student Takes a Screenshot During a Quiz.
