This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 11/16/23
Description
When a student from a trust instance attempts to upload a file to a group assignment with Assignment Enhancements enabled, they get the error "Error updating submission draft”.
Expected Behavior
They should instead be able to upload file submissions to group assignments
Workaround
No workaround exists at this time.
Steps to Reproduce
Prerequisites: In a trust, have a course in Instance B that has a cross-shard student enrollment from Instance A. Enable Assignment Enhancements in Instance B. Have the student added to a group on the people page.

Create a group assignment and enable file uploads.

As a cross-shard student access the assignment.

Select Upload.

Attempt to upload a file.

Note that the submission does not go through and it stays on the page where you are meant to submit the file.
