Elementary theme to-do list goes blank when you have items from teacher and student enrollments

Description


When a user has a separate teacher and student enrollments and the elementary theme is applied, the elementary theme dashboard to-do list will go blank when selecting it. This will happen if there is a to-do item for the student enrollment.

Expected Behavior


Either the student enrollment to do items need to be excluded, or the to-do items also need to be included for student enrollments.

Workaround


Use the Classic Dashboard view.

Steps to Reproduce

 

  1. In an account and course have Elementary theme enabled.

  2. Have a student and teacher enrollment in two separate courses.

  3. In the student enrollment course, create an assignment with a due date.

  4. Acting as the user, if you go to the dashboard using the elementary and select to do, it will go blank.

  5. If you only have a student enrollment, the to-do list is not available.

  6. If you only have a teacher enrollment, the to-do list will work with no issue.
