This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 11/3/25.
When there are more than one student attempts on an external tool, or module external tool studio quiz, only the first attempt is displaying on the quiz results page.

No workaround exists at this time.
Prerequisites: Have a studio quiz setup, and a published course with at least a student enrollment.
Create an external tool studio quiz assignment or module item.
Act as a student and take the quiz more than once.
Notice how the subsequent attempts are visible on the view results page as the student, however they are not when accessing the quiz results tab on the studio quiz.
