Description

If a “No Submission” or “On Paper” assignment is placed into a module, students cannot view the “Next” or “Previous” button if assignment enhancements are enabled.

Expected Behavior

Students should still be able to view the Module progression buttons if these items are placed into a module.

Workaround

Turn off Assignment Enhancements.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a course with Assignment Enhancements enabled.

  2. Create an assignment, set the submission type to either “On Paper” or “No Submission”

  3. Add those assignments to the module.

  4. Masquerade as a student and access the assignment through the Module, notice the Module progression buttons are missing.
