Description

Android users are encountering an ‘Unexpected Error’ when creating support requests within the Teacher app.

Expected Behavior

They should be able to create a ticket using the report a problem button.

Workaround

No workaround exists at this time.

Steps to Reproduce

Prereq: The account settings for your instance of canvas has to have a “Report a Problem” help menu option that goes to #create_ticket

  1. Login on the android teacher or student apps.

  2. Use the “Help” option from the left navigation menu and tap “Report a Problem”

  3. Fill in the form and tap send.

  4. Notice the “unknown error” popup at the bottom.
