[OPEN] If grades are applied by a Missing Submission Policy, they do not appear in the Gradebook History

Description

If grades are applied by a Missing Submission Policy, they do not appear in the Gradebook History.

Expected Behavior

Instead it should show a record of when the missing policy updated the score in the gradebook history

Workaround

No workaround exists at this time.

Steps to Reproduce

Prerequisites:

  1. A published course
  2. At least one student in the course
  3. A Missing Submission Policy configured in the Gradebook
  4. Create an assignment with a due date in the near future
  5. After the submission date/time has passed, check the gradebook and confirm the Missing Submission Policy has been applied
  6. Check the gradebook history and notice there is no activity
