[OPEN] Submissions made on trust accounts are missing on eportfolios

Students enrolled in courses across trusted accounts can not see submissions to add to their eportfolio, if the submissions were made from a trusted account they are not currently logged into.

Expected Behavior

Instead they should be able to see their submissions made on any trusted account to add to their eportfolio.


No workaround exists at this time.

Steps to Reproduce


Have two instances which have a trust.

  1. Create a course in Account A and Account B

  2. Enroll a user from Account A to both courses

  3. Create an assignment in both courses

  4. As the student, logged into Account A, submit to both assignments

  5. Create an eportfolio as the student

  6. Notice that the Recent Submissions sections shows the submission from Account A

  7. Create/Edit a page within the eportfolio

  8. In the 'Add Content' section select 'Course Submission'

  9. Notice that it only shows the submission from Account A instead of both accounts
