This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment in iOS version 8.3.
When a student attempts to submit an assignment using text entry in the iOS Canvas Student app, the Submit button disappears after typing in the text box.This prevents the student from submitting their assignment via the app on iOS 26.
The student should be able to type in the text entry box and still see the Submit button, allowing them to successfully submit the assignment through the Canvas app.
No workaround exists at this time.

Log in to the Canvas Student app on iOS.

Navigate to course.

Open the assignment.

Select Submit Assignment → Text Entry.

Begin typing in the text entry box.

Notice that the Submit button disappears on the right side of the box.
