This behavior is corrected in Canvas Student iOS 6.12, Canvas Teacher iOS 1.13.2

Description


In group assignments, if submission comments with files attached are left in the app, the comments will not be visible in the browser when viewing the speedgrader/submission details page.

Expected Behavior


Comments left with files attached should be visible in the browser, as they are with non group assignments.

Workaround


No workaround exists at this time.

Steps to Reproduce

 

Prerequisites: Published course with enough active students to be put in groups.

  1. Add students to groups.

  2. Create assignment and assign to group set.

  3. Submit assignment as a student.

  4. In the app, go to the assignment, click Submissions & Rubric. Add a comment and attach a file.

  5. In browser, go to the submission details page or speedgrader, notice the submission is missing.
