Hello, and welcome to the Mastery Connect Analytics Beta!
For those who do not know me, my name is Cason Snow, and I am a Product Manager with Mastery Connect.
We're thrilled to announce the launch of our latest feature beta group, and we're inviting you to be among the first to experience it! Your district's feedback helps shape the future of our platform. Your insights will help us craft solutions that truly meet your needs.
What is the Feature Beta Group?
Our feature beta group is an opportunity to get a sneak peek at our updated Analytics features before they are officially rolled out. By participating in the beta, you'll have early access to these features and functionalities, allowing you to explore, test, and provide valuable feedback directly to our product team.
What's in it for You?
As a member of our feature beta group, you'll enjoy several benefits:
- Early Access: Be the first to experience our latest feature before it's available to the general public.
- Direct Influence: Your feedback will directly impact the development and refinement of the feature, ensuring it meets your specific needs.

What to Expect During the Beta?
The beta will run until the end of June during which you'll have the opportunity to:
- Explore the features and test its functionality.
- Provide feedback and report any issues or bugs encountered.
- Engage with our product team through dedicated channels for discussions and support.
There are a few major areas of the feature changes during the beta:
- Analytics Features: These are all the features that will be part of the Analytics updates. This will only be available to select roles.
- Navigation Updates: The Mastery Connect navigation will be updated to our new styling. This will be available to all users, including students and parents.
Initially, the Analytics features will only be available to district administrators. Other roles will be able to see the original features. However, we anticipate on expanding access to the additional roles throughout the beta period as we prepare and release the features.
When you access during the beta, you will be presented with two in-app tours:
- Navigation Updates Tour: Available to everyone, describes the changes that have happened to the navigation.
- Analytics Tour: Available to the roles who have access to the Analytics features (again, initially only District Administrators, with additional users getting access as the beta proceeds).
High-Level Timeline
- Beta Launch: Early May
- Feedback Collection: Throughout the beta period.
- Feature Refinement: Continuous based on feedback received.
- Beta Conclusion: End of June
Feature Releases
We expect to release additional features, such additional dashboards and related functionality, throughout the beta period. Our current goal is to release these improvements every couple weeks, and will aim to have them available to you by the end of the day on Thursdays.
We will announce the feature releases both as an in-app announcement and as a blog post in this Community Feature Preview group.

We will monitor this group throughout the beta and respond to any feedback. In addition, we will be reaching out with a survey during the beta.
