How do I create a formative assessment for bubble sheet rubric scoring?
As the author of a formative assessment, you can include items for bubble sheet rubric scoring. Bubble sheet rubric scoring allows you to associate a point value to each letter answer in the bubble sheet so that the assessment can be scored with GradeCam.
Open Assessments Tool
In the Global Navigation menu, click the Assessments link [1]. Then click the Add Assessment button [2].
Enter Assessment Details

In the Create Assessment page, click the drop-down menus to select a subject, core, class, and standard [1].
Enter a title for the assessment in the Title field [2].
Optionally, enter a description of the assessment in the Description field [3].
Select Assessment Source

Click the Assessment Source drop-down menu [1]. Then select either the Upload A File option [2] or the No Document (Bubble Sheet Only) option [3].
To select a privacy level for the assessment, click the Privacy drop-down menu [4]. If you are sharing the assessment with the Mastery Connect Community, verify that the assessment is not copyrighted and click the Assessment is Not Copyrighted checkbox [5].
Add Bubble Sheet Rubric Scoring Question Type

To add one or more bubble sheet items, type a number in the Qty field [1].
Click the question Type drop-down menu [2], and select the Bubble Sheet Rubric Scoring option [3].
To add the items, click the Add button [4].
Assign Points
You must assign points to each possible answer. To assign points to an answer, click the answer [1]. Then enter a point value [2].
Repeat this process for each answer for each question.
Verify Points
For each question, the answer with the highest number of points assigned [1] determines the number of points earned for the question [2].
Note: As needed, you can add additional questions to the assessment [3].
Enter Single-Standard Mastery Scores

In a single-standard assessment, the total number of assessment points possible displays [1].
To enter mastery cut scores, enter the minimum number of points required for Mastery and Near Mastery in the text boxes [2].
Enter Multi-Standard Mastery Scores

For multi-standard assessments, the Scoring menu displays the total number of points possible for each standard [1].
To enter mastery cut scores, enter the minimum number of points required for Mastery in the M text box [2]. Enter the minimum number of points required for Near Mastery in the NM text box [3].
To view details about a standard, hover the cursor over the standard name [4] to view details in a pop-up window [5].
Complete Assessment Creation

To create the assessment, click the Create Assessment button [1].
Note: You can remove all selections on the page, by clicking the Reset button [2].
