How do I edit a formative assessment?
As the author of a Mastery Connect formative assessment, you can edit the assessment. The changes you can make to the assessment depend on whether the assessment is used in trackers and whether scores are associated with it. Learn more about edits you can make to an assessment.
- If you are not the original creator of an assessment, you cannot edit it. However, you can create a clone and then edit it.
- After you edit an assessment, teachers can apply or ignore the assessment updates in their trackers.
Open Created Assessments
To edit an assessment, click the Assessments link , then click the Created tab .
In the Assessments page, find the assessment to clone using the search bar and the filters . To view more filters, click the Expand icon .
To open the assessment, click the Assessment Title .
Note: To quickly edit an assessment from the Assessments page, click the More Options button  and select the Edit option .
If the assessment is in use in a tracker or has been taken by students, an informative banner displays.
In the Edit Assessment page, make the necessary edits.
To save the edits, click the Save Changes button .
To remove all changes, can click the Reset button .
Teachers can now choose to apply or ignore assessment updates in their trackers.
