How do I create a curriculum map?

Curriculum maps identify the learning standards, objectives, and outcomes for a course. Mastery Connect then uses these identified outcomes to measure student growth and performance throughout a course.  

As an admin or a teacher, you can create curriculum maps. As an admin, you can also create district-approved curriculum maps.

Add Curriculum Map

In the Global Navigation menu, click the Maps tab [1]. Then click the Add Curriculum Map button [2].

Create New Curriculum Map

In the New Curriculum Map window, enter the map owner's name in the Owner field [1].

Enter a name for the curriculum map in the Map Name field [2].

Enter an optional description of 100 or fewer characters in the Description field [3].

Select a privacy level from the Privacy drop-down menu [4].

Select a Subject, Core, and Class from the drop-down menus [5].

To create a district-approved curriculum map, click the District Approved toggle on [6].

To save changes and create the curriculum map, click the Create Curriculum Map button [7].

Notes:

  • Items marked with an asterisk are required.
  • Only admins can create district approved curriculum maps.
  • Curriculum maps can be owned by individuals or teams.
