How do I copy a curriculum map?

You can make a copy of most curriculum maps that you have access to. You can copy curriculum maps that you created, maps you are collaborating on, or maps that another teacher created. 

Notes:

  • Only the author of a district-approved curriculum map can edit it.
  • District-approved curriculum maps cannot be copied.
  • Copying a curriculum map copies all units, standards, assessments, pins, and curriculum map notes.
  • Copying a curriculum map does not copy over team members, collaborators, or unit notes.
  • The copy you create displays in the Created category on your Curriculum Maps page.
  • You can edit or reorganize the copy as you would any other maps you create.

Copy Map from Another User

In the Global Navigation menu, click the Home link [1]. The page defaults to the Dashboard [2].

To copy a curriculum map owned by another user, search for the user. Click the Search button [3] and enter the user's name in the Search field [4]. Press the Enter key on your keyboard. Click the user's name to go to their profile page.

To open another user's profile page, you can also click the picture of a user you are following [5], a user following you [6], or a user's name from your news feed [7].

View User's Curriculum Maps

On the user's profile page, click the Curriculum Maps tab to see a list of curriculum maps they've created.

Copy Map

Click the Copy link under the curriculum map you want to copy [1]. 

In the confirmation window that displays, click the Copy Map button to confirm your choice [2].

Copy Your Own Curriculum Map

In the Global Navigation menu, click the Maps link [1].

Click the Curriculum Maps tab [2].

Find the map you want to copy from any of the curriculum map categories [3].

Click the Copy link [4]. In the confirmation window that displays, click the Copy Map button [5].
