MasteryConnect Release Notes (2020-12-11)

In this MasteryConnect release (December 11), teachers can manage tools and accommodations options at the formative level. Additionally, updates have been made to the Assess Modal and the warning message for generating a new test id for an active assessment.

  New Feature

Formative Tools and Accommodations

Teachers can manage tools and accommodations options at the formative level. This update provides various tools to meet student needs during the assessment process. Teachers can select which tools will be available to all students on a formative assessment. These tools and accommodations include flagging, highlighter, strikethrough, line reader, calculator (basic, extended, scientific), Desmos calculator (if the district has purchased it), and the option to include question level tools.

Teachers can select a default set of tools and accommodations for Formative assessments at the tracker level. If a teacher wants the new default setting to apply to all assessments within the tracker, they must select the Apply to All Assessments option. The new default settings will apply to any new assessments added to the tracker from the date of update moving forward.
