Over the last several years we've developed a set of templated elements with custom styling we use for all portions of our courses including quizzes (instructions mainly). Migrating to New Quizzes breaks that custom styling and thus far I've been unable to find a new way to reapply it since the quizzes are in an iframe with a different origin.
Has anyone found a way to apply styling to quizzes, or are instructional designers stuck with only basic format options now?

Hey, Brett,
Unfortunately the Rich Content Editor in New Quizzes isn't as robust as in Classic Quizzes, which is why the formatting is changed (because it isn't supported). The only related feature idea we have about improvements for the RCE in New Quizzes is https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/15963-new-quizzes-rce-to-match-canvas if you'd like to add your vote and explain your workflow there for our product team.
Thanks!
