Formatting isotopes for new canvas quizzes

I struggled to find a way to type isotopes with the mass number as a superscript to the left of the symbol and the atomic number as a subscript  to the left of the symbol.  I'm not familiar with LaTeX, but I finally figured it out.  Here is how I entered the S-32 nuclide:

\(^{32}_{16}\)S

It works for new canvas quizzes.  I hope it helps other chemistry teachers.

Thank you!  I've finally learned how to type both statistics and physics symbols in LaTeX with the current editor and wasn't sure it all still worked in the new quizzes as I've been focused more on the core of the how to create questions.  Glad you could confirm and get it working there!
