Canvas Credential and Elementary Aged Students

Hello!

I am wondering if Canvas Credentials are usable with elementary-aged students. In the past, badging was not available because of COPPA requirements that Badgr didn't meet (the last time I looked at it).  I tried searching for it and found archived information that didn't answer my questions. 

Thanks for any help or direction you can point me.

I believe Badges is intended to be used with K12 as long as students are over the age of 13.
