eLumen is a higher education curriculum and assessment management system that provides insight into each student’s engagement and progress. It is a planning tool that feeds data from your assessments, action plans, and other activities, helping teams work collaboratively through their review cycles. It is a client-focused and innovative tool that allows faculty to do what they do best: teach.
eLumen’s Curriculum Management contains everything you need to create and revise courses, configure state codes, calculation rules, and validations for your approving/funding agencies, and design workflows that fit your course and program approval processes. Since the curriculum you develop flows directly into our core assessment and program review modules, you can build dashboards that give you a real-time view of the performance of your courses and programs.
eLumen’s catalog is a tightly integrated e-catalog that will help counselors and students make better decisions because it is fed directly from the Curriculum Management system, ensuring the most accurate catalog information.
We provide all the tools you need to create and align learning outcomes and competency models and obtain disaggregated data. You can tailor your assessment and improvement planning to your institution’s culture and needs. After you gather data, enter reflections and actions-taken (including resource requests), data can be viewed against demographics and course performance to give true insights into student success.
Every college’s program review and accreditation management processes are different—often between programs at the same institution. eLumen provides powerful tools for designing and managing templates and workflows that allow you to be up and running on your reporting quickly, manage your processes in a sustainable way, and obtain the data you need for reporting when and how you need it.

Data retention policy |
We are hosted on AWS, with continuous point-in-time backup and recovery. In addition, we have real-time failover from AWS-West to AWS-East, as well as automatic load detection and balancing.
eLumen uses a combination of full backups of client data each time an update is made to the client environment and differential backups (differential backup contains all of the data that has changed since the last full backup.) Suppose for example that you wanted to create a full backup on Monday and differential backups for the rest of the week. Tuesday's backup would contain all of the data that has changed since Monday. It would therefore be identical to an incremental backup at this point. On Wednesday, however, the differential backup would backup any data that had changed since Monday. We can provide clients with a full restore of data to specific points in time.
