Adding a New Quiz to a Module

Jump to solution

Is it possible for a "New Quiz" to be a natural NEXT in the progression of a module without leaving the Quiz tab visible to students (7th graders)? The organization of my course is where students read a daily announcement and then go to the current MODULE/unit of study.  As long as the page, assignment, or quiz is "published" there is no need for them to "chase or search" for various works to complete.

With New Quizzes, you need to look under the Assignments when adding to the module.  https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-12689-415241427

Hello bmendenhall@madison-schools.com  and welcome to the Community!  You are absolutely correct!  If it is in the module and the module is published, the students can get to the assignment or quiz without the quiz menu being enabled in the Course Menu!  I have done this MANY times!

even the "NEW QUIZZES"

My "classic Quizzes" show easily.  Do you know how to add what Canvas is referring the the "NEW Quizzes"?

Sweet!!! Thank you so much.  I have been using Canvas for over 7 years, but I'm still learning.  Thank you so much for sharing! :smileycool:  Heart   jcarpenter@instructure.com
