Just a suggestion. Why not put the grades in the grade book when the student complete the assignment regardless if there is a due date or not. I only ask because I now have to post about 100 due dates 😞

You don't necessarily need to add a date. Items that aren't assigned a due date are seen as "No Date" and are grouped together for students.

The downside is that the activities wouldn't be displayed on the calendar or student to-do list. However, if you build in Modules or link to activities in an announcement or on a page, it could work for self-paced items.

That looked like a wonderful idea, but it failed horribly. When I changed the dates, following the instructions in the link, it deleted all of the grades for the entire class 😞

Oh No!

Are the students still assigned to the work? If not, reassign them, and their grades will populate!

All the students are assigned in the assignment. This has got to be some kind of nightmare.
