How and when can we resend existing announcements without having to type the announcement twice?

There does not seem to be any functionality to resend a previous announcement, aside from just telling the students to go to the old announcement directly.

If you wish to send a copy of an old announcement, you could go to the announcement, press Edit, and copy-paste the entire message into a new announcement.
