As an admin, what is the process of activating the attendance tool?

I am unable to view the attendance or chat options in my canvas instance. As admin, how can i activate the attendance tool so the teachers can view the option.

As far as I know, there is not need to enable Attendance at the account level, it is part of the standard Canvas feature set for all courses. Teachers must make sure it is active in their course navigation menu, though, and this guide will help How do I use the Roll Call Attendance tool in Canvas?

If they do not have it active in course navigation, this guide will help How do I manage course navigation links?

The documents on attendance state that the tool needs to be enabled. 

Note: The Attendance tool must be enabled by your Canvas admin before it can be used in your course. If you cannot see the Attendance link in Course Navigation, please contact your administrator.

Hello @Rizwana ...

In addition to the information you were provided earlier by @kmeeusen, I also found this Guide: What is the Roll Call Attendance Tool?.  According to the "Note" at the bottom of the info in the blue box, "The Attendance tool must be enabled for your institution before it can be used in Canvas courses. If you are an admin, contact your Customer Success Manager for assistance."  If you do not have the "Attendance" tool enabled yet, you'll need to reach out to your CSM to get it enabled.
