CST time zone calendar

Hello,

I am residing in  CST time zone and unfortunately i am missing webinar due to confusion. 

can you please guide me how to change the webinar to CST time zone instead of UTC

I know what it's like to be going between two different timezones as I have done it plenty of times during the past several months.  I am finding that whenever I use Canvas, it shows the time according to the timezone where I am.  I would recommend you add the event to an external calendar, such as Google Calendar, iCal, etc, and set up reminders.

My canvas calendar doesn't even say what timezone the events are in.

I saw your question about setting your time zone in another discussion topic.  You wouldn't see the time zone information in the Calendar.  You should be able to set your time zone in your user settings:

• How do I set a time zone in my user account as a student?
• How do I set a time zone in my user account as an instructor?

If you are a student, hopefully your instructor has also set a time zone for the course as well...but your own user time zone setting should reflect the time zone you are in so that you know exactly when assignments are due in your course.
