Can I add a link in a Google Slide to a Canvas page?

Jump to solution

I've joined the craze and made a Bitmoji Classroom that I will use as my Canvas homepage.  I made the "classroom" in Google Slides.  I'd like to have a "To Do" list on the "classroom" where students will click and be sent to another place within Canvas.  Can I create a clickable link that will send them to assignments.

(I know how to embed the Google Slides into Canvas- all search options keep sending me to that.)

Hi -

Your url will be unique to your course, but it should work to link: https://{yourinstitution}.instructure.com/courses/###/assignments (Click Assignments, then copy the URL at the top of the screen)

Your view will look different than what your students experience because of your unique roles. They'll see what the should. Smiley Wink

Faith Grubbs, did this work for you? Are the students actually going to be able to access the assignments that way?

Thank you,

Tylenia
