Can a quiz be recovered once deleted?

Jump to solution
  1. Trying to edit midterm scores so they could be seen but did not impact student quarter averages.
  2. Quiz was inadvertently deleted, thinking Paperscorer would still have the original.
  3. Students have already filled in the answer, bubble sheet.  Is there a way to regrade?

hallwe@japioneers.org Nice Work in finding a solution on your own!  There is also a blog post by hollands@rowan.edu‌ called Undeleting things in Canvas‌ that I frequently direct people to when there are questions similar to yours.  I've marked your question as "Correct".  Thanks, and Happy New Year!

Wendy,

Open your course homepage, type /undelete after the URL, and hit enter to reload the new page. Locate your deleted quiz and click the restore button. Then, navigate to your assignments page and republish the quiz. This will restore the assignment and any scores that had been recorded.
