Can an assignment be edited to prevent re-submissions?

A colleague is having students resubmit assignments after they are graded. Is there a way to prevent re-submissions? I told her to not grade it before the due date to prevent this, but I thought I would ask just in case.

The only way to prevent a user from re-submitting is to set the Until date.  This will effectively "lock" the assignment after the set date.
