Can students upload a slide presentation to a discussion board?

I want my students to make a short slide presentation (maybe 7 slides) that can be uploaded to Discussion board. Is that possible?

One way to allow file attachment to discussion topic posts is to enable that via course "Settings".  Check out the section in this Guide called "View More Options": How do I set details for a course?.  You'll find a check-box that you can click on so that your students can attach files...including slide presentations.
