Can't see student name in Class List or Grade Book

Hello,
I have a student who is listed in my People list and grade book, but when I look at the lists, I can't see their name. I see their email and I see their profile picture. But instead of name it only says "(He/Him)." When I click on the student, I go to their profile. I can see their name there, but that name doesn't appear in my lists. How can I fix this? I want to see the person's name in my Class List and in my Grade Book, but I can't. I already asked the student to update their profile, but they've updated everything they could.
