Canvas App Crashing - iPad

Students are reporting that the Canvas App is crashing when accessing it via an ipad. Is anyone else having this issue?

I'd like to submit a ticket of some sort to help resolve this issue.

Hi  @lrantala  Welcome to the Canvas Community.

This sounds frustrating for you and the students.

But I'm guessing that it's simply that the iPads might need updating. 

IPads require iOS 12.0 or later. 

Do you think this might be the case?

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. When I spoke to the student yesterday she noted that she had just updated everything. I reached out to her again today to double check the version. I also asked her to reach out to troubleshoot.

 @lrantala ‌, Bobby is definitely on the right track; please check that the iPads are updated to iOS 12.0 and that Canvas Student has also been updated to the most recent version. If you've already ascertained that and would like to submit a ticket, it's best to have someone who is experiencing the problem initiate the ticket so our support agents can inspect the environment in which the error occurs:

Hi Bobby,

Thank you for checking in. I reached out to our student, but have not heard anything back just yet. I will let you know when I do. 

On a side note, we are noticing that many of our students at LBCC are using the App over desktop. Are there specific guides to support the use of the Canvas App? Are there any themes you as a company are noticing with troubleshooting that might help us?
