Canvas Login Problem

I am trying to get onto Canvas on my labtop. I can log in on my phone but when I input the same information for my laptop it says invalid username or password. Please help!

Welcome to the Canvas Community! This is a public discussion board for Canvas users from schools all over the world.
Since you can log in successfully through the Canvas app on your phone, it sounds like you may not be using the correct URL to get to your school's Canvas server. You may be accidentally going to the "free" public Canvas server at https://canvas.instructure.com instead, and you won't have an account there unless you have made one. (That's also probably not where your courses are!)
First, contact the Help Desk at your school and confirm what the correct URL is to get to your school's Canvas server. If you are using the correct URL to get your school's Canvas and are still having problems logging in, you'll want to have the school's Help Desk assist you with your account.
