Canvas app isn’t working on my IPad

For a few weeks now,  I have been unable to access my classes on Canvas app. I have talked to Apple customer representatives, I have talked with my school OIT representatives no one seems to know what’s going on about me not having access to my classes through the Canvas app. I am still unable to access my classes on the Canvas app.

There are other threads with this exact issue in the community. 6.6.5 for iOS was released today in hopes to solve this issue. Give it an update and let me know if it fixes your issue.

Hi  @rmattre2  

I know this is obvious, but have you tried deleting the app and reinstalling?

Some other ideas........

  • Canvas Student App  - for student users,
  • Canvas Teacher App  - for teacher users.

And is it current?

The two guides will help,

Can you not access the app? Or can you log in and then you can't see or access your classes? Are you getting errors or simply not seeing anything? I'm trying figure out the exact issue. 

There was also an update for iOS 6.6.5 released today. It's a long shot, but you can give that a shot. 

It sounds like you might have contacted your local Canvas support, but it would be to your advantage if they opened a ticket directly with Canvas so it gets back to the mobile team. Hope this helps. 

The exact issue is that  I can get into the Canvas app and see my classes but when I try to access any of my specific classes it then kicks me out of the app. I specifically can not get into any of my classes from the Canvas app, but I see my classes in the app.

How do I get the updated 6.6.5 for iOS version?

I’m in now and Ryan Thank you!

I just bought the latest Ipad and am still getting the issue.  I cannot see reference links in Teachers "Homeroom" and cannot select the days to view current or past sessions.
