Canvas conference breakout room random assign does not seem to work

When I want to randomly assign participants to a breakout room, it does not allow me to do so. Has anyone else experienced this and found a way to make it work. Needing to manually assign my participants to breakout rooms takes so much time (large group)!

I am the product manager for BigBlueButton.  While I work at Blindside Networks, the company that provides hosting for Canvas Conferences to Instructure, and can't speak on behalf of Instructure, I can respond to your question.

When you create a breakout room, there should be text that says "Randomly Assign".  

Clicking that text will randomly assign users to breakout rooms.
