Canvas link to SIS question

My school just linked Canvas to Tyler Technology SIS grade book. My department creates daily 'assignments' that are informational only (marked as no submission). I there a way to make sure all of the daily 'assignments' do not transfer to the SIS grade book? We have other assignments and quizzes we want to transfer, but we don't want our grade book to be too confusingly large.

Sorry that you haven't gotten a response on this! I guess you have the Community stumped! I'm going to share this with the LMS & Migrations​ group in the Community, but you might also want to check with Tyler Technology SIS to see if they have any other Canvas users and if so how they make it work.

Are you creating the assignments in Canvas or in Tyler?

Thank you for your help guys, my IT got back with me and they fixed this for me, it was an admin issue.
