Changing look of items in navigation bar

Jump to solution

I am setting up a new course in canvas (my second)... and while "Modules" is in bold on my original course site, it's NOT in bold on my second course.

Both sites have the "Modules" navigation tool visible to the student (not disabled).

How can I change the "Look" of items on the navigation bar to put navigation items I think more useful in bold?

If it varies by location and install... I'm at K-State University.  (I note this because I can't change user roles for a user in our install via the method recommended on this site.)

It turns out I had to add some content and then "publish" it.

Frustrating not to be able to change the look yourself though...

Deactivated user,

It sounds like you have the Modules tool set up as the Home Page in your first course?  Have you chosen the Modules tool as the Home Page under the Choose Home Page What is the Course Home Page? ?
