I am taking a course and was asked to simplify by doubling my modules page as my home page. How can I add a colorful banner to that page to make it more inviting for my students?
The Modules page does not support the addition of a banner. Customization is available if the Modules page is set as the course home page; when that is the case, the instructor can enable an announcements feed at the top as documented in How do I show recent announcements in the Course Home Page? As noted in the documentation, the announcements feed will not display images or media.
