Copy a NEW quiz from one course to another

I am trying to copy a quiz from NEW quizzes into another course, but the questions don't come over.  I have the questions in an item bank that I have imported in my course.  I have tried using the import course content option as well as commons.

I think that I answered my own question, but what I did was share the item bank with the other teacher and then when I imported that assignment (since new quizzes are assignments) the shell was there.  The other teacher then just had to click on the test bank, select all of the questions and then add them to the new quiz.  A bit clunky, but I guess I understand why that has to be the workflow.
