Copy assignee group

I have assigned a quiz to a group of individual students.  I would like to be able to copy that quiz and assign it to the same group of kids without having to put all of their names in again.  Is there a way to copy the group of kids to whom the quiz was originally assigned?

Unfortunately, I do not believe it is possible to duplicate the group of students who were assigned to an assignment or quiz to a new assignment or quiz.  However if you have to repeat this multiple times in the course, there is a solution you might appreciate here: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Question-Forum/Different-due-dates-for-groups-with-individual-sub...

You could also use mastery paths to assign everything else based on that quiz.  However, mastery paths will delete any due dates that you attach to the activity.

I think this might have changed. I can use the same groups from one assessment to the next by assigning the same group heading to the second assessment. So if you use if Frank Ali Jemma are a group in AT1, then using AT1 for AT2, you get the same groupings for the students. You just assign the same group heading to the different assessments.

@PhillipaWischer  That might turn the assessment into a group assignment.  If your goal is for that students to work together in a group a group assignment may work well.  I have not used that feature much myself, however.
