Copying question in Modules to Discussions?

How do I get a discussion question I've included in a Module to also show up on the Discussions page?

Hi Gregory Smith,

I suppose the first question is how did you put the discussion question in the module? As a text header? On a Canvas page?

Inevitably, you'll want to create a discussion and use that question as the prompt in the Rich Content Editor. How do I create a discussion as an instructor? Then you can Add the item to the module.

Or you could add the new discussion straight from the module page by choosing New Topic when you add an item. And use the question as the topic name. It will give you a very basic discussion without any description text and you'll have to remember to Publish it as well.
