Creating multiple courses via REST API

After perusing the REST APIs I cannot find a way to create multiple courses via the create course POST endpoint. Is this ability something in the pipeline or not planned yet?
I am using the REST api not the graphql, fwiw. Our integration is working fully but right now we are limited to looping over courses and creating one by one, which is not efficient.
