Does Canvas color-code (green is the default for resubmissions) resubmitted discussions in the gradebook?

Discussion boards don't really have a re-submission option.  It's a discussion so students can post and reply as much as they want as long as the board is open.  As far as the color coding, I believe as long as a first submission is before the due date it will not be color coded as late but I don't think a color code for resubmission would ever happen for a discussion.
