Does an embedded Google Form count as 'contribute to page' requirement in a module?

Hello!

With e-learning in full swing, I'm attempting to place requirements on each weekly module. Would an embedded Google Form for my students to fill out count as 'contribute to page' in the module?

Hi Maigan,

I'm afraid it won't because Canvas doesn't have any way to know if students typed into a document on an outside system (Google Form).  I suggest using "Mark as complete".  This puts a button that they students need to click on to indicate they've completed the item.  I find this a little better than simple "viewed the page" because they have to acknowledge having done something.
