Hi, just wondering if I am able to add Edpuzzle as an app to my free teacher account? I cannot seem to get the codes needed to do this as I do not have a valid link without a school account. If this can't happen - what other ways can I use to ensure students are watching videos?

Hi Kym -
Even without the LTI tool, I think you'll find EdPuzzle to be a great resource. I enjoyed using EdPuzzle even before it was "friends" with Canvas.
I'm not sure which level you teach, but you can create a group in EdPuzzle for each section of students you teach. They can enroll using a Google Email (one less password!) or school email. Then, using the correct group code, they join that "class". You can see the progress of the assigned videos on a class-by-class basis. I like the color-coded progress bars!
Even though it takes some time, if you add questions, you can always enter the scores into the Canvas gradebook manually.
Hi @kym_ellis Welcome to the Canvas Community.
I had a go at embedding Edpuzzle using an iframe generator with no luck.
BUT I did find these handy instructions that ought to be all you need Using Edpuzzle With Canvas – Edpuzzle Help Center
Sing out if you need a hand.
Hi Bobby, I tried those instructions, but I get an invalid domain message. As I am not with my school using Canvas I don’t seem to have a domain that works.
Thanks for your help
Thanks for getting back to us.
What a shame. Let me dig into that one for you.
