Extra grades showing up in exam column

Hello,

I have 2 assignments showing up as exams, but I only have one exam so far.

I suspect it came from a homework assignment that I had originally not classified as only homework in McGraw Hill.

I went in and changed the assignment and now all of my homework assignments now appear to be classified correctly (as home work).

The McGraw Hill class is synched.

I can see that Canvas is using more than one number to figure the exam grade, how can I see what the other number is and how can I fix this, please?

Hi Scott,

If you go to the Assignments page from the course menu, the assignments there will be organized by Assignment Group (i.e. classification or category), so you can locate the "Exam" assignment group and see which assignments are listed under it.

Thanks Mike, that did the trick.

I’m not sure why they were characterized that way (think I assigned them properly). I am a first time Canvas user.
