Facing issues in copying course

Hi Team,

We have a course in Canvas with multiple Assignments, when user clicks on any assignment the resource id is sent with the LTI request to an external website. This resource id is mapped to a page in that site.

Now when we are copying a course, the resource id/s for the assignments are re-generated, so after clicking the course the links are broken, the reason is that the new ids aren't mapped.

Is there any way to get the previous course resource id for the assignment and pass it with the LTI request for the new assignment, so that we can update our database ?
