Fields missing in edit user account settings

When editing my settingings in profile (How do I change the settings in my user account as an instructor?), why can I not see the fields "Pronouns" or "Default Email"? Is this why my "Contact" field is blank in my profile? I have entered and confirmed two email addresses already. Many thanks for the support.

Hi, George,

The lesson shows all functionality that may be possible, but being able to manage them is contingent on your institution. The pronouns feature requires your Canvas admin to enable that for the entire institution—sounds like it is currently disabled. The Default Email field is also not something your admin has allowed you to manage. If you have concerns about these fields, contact your Canvas admin and let him or her know!
